"Captured in The Highlands" Photography Contest Sponsored by the Highland Commerce Guild Submit Entries from Aug. 1 to Sept. 10 Photographers are encouraged to capture the many unique treasures of The Highlands – the wild, the wonderful and the weird! Photos can include but are not limited to the following: streetscapes, people, architecture, as well as favorite places such as Cave Hill, Farmington and Cherokee Park. Click here for an Entry Form or pick one up at many Highlands’ businesses. There is a $5 Entry Fee which allows up to three photos to be entered. Judging will occur in September and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place – and there will be honorable mentions. There are fifteen Highlands’ businesses who will be contributing prizes for the contest winners. Top prizes are from Murphy’s Camera ($250 Gift Certificate), Chuck Rubin Photographics ( Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera), and National City Bank ($100 Gift Card).
